A Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary association of business people, formed to promote the interests of the community and district which it serves.

These interests can include municipal affairs, special events, tourism, public relations and advocacy. Your local Chamber of Commerce unites the business people as one large body and can advocate with one strong voice to deal with concerns that arise at a municipal level. It can also network with neighbouring Chambers to deal with issues at provincial and federal levels.
